In the story of ‘’The Watson’s go to Birmingham’’ By Christopher Paul Curtis, Watson’s Go to Birmingham, is when you enter the hilarious world of a ten-year-old Kenny and his family. There's Mamma, Dad, little sister Joetta, and brother Byron. When the Mom and Dad decide to visit Grandma. The Watson’s set out on a trip like no other and heading South and heading toward one of the darkest moments in America’s history.

Would you ever drive hundreds and hundreds of miles to any place? In ‘’The Watson’s Go to Birmingham ‘’ by Christopher Paul Curtis They live in a small cold town that people think that they are a weird family. The story tells how they have Byron and his family visit Birmingham.

Before The Watson’s decide to visit their grandma the mother and father are strict parents the father even shaved Byron’s hair all off and Byron is now bald. And the mother does some serious consequences when her children get in trouble.

The craziness but a happy family ,  Byron  thinks hes  a  person who can do whatever he wants and thinks hes cool and where him and his family live they have to wear at least four  layers of shirts and 2 jackets 2 pairs of socks. Their mother makes them wear lots of clothes.

What i think about the book and if i would give it a rate it would be a 4 because it was a good and interesting plot, the characters are relatable, and the theme is very touching.
